Welcome to the Crewkerne and District U3A. This is a charity whose objective is the advancement of education and in particular the education of older people, carers and those retired from full time work.

The charity is run entirely by its members who provide each other with educational, creative and leisure opportunities in a friendly and informal environment. We are open to all and encourage equality, inclusion and diversity in everything we do. For more information, go to bottom of page and click on the boxes.

We formed in 1997 and currently we have over 200 members and offer over 20 Interest Groups covering a wide range of subjects.

Most group activities take place at venues in Crewkerne and surrounding villages. Members choose the frequency of their meetings.

We hold  monthly meetings with speakers who are amusing and inspirational. These offer a good opportunity to socialise and catch up.

We are always looking for new groups and members who will convene them. Whatever interests you – home-brewing, sea fishing, furniture restoration, and website design – just let us know.

Our membership fees are fixed at our AGM, and are payable on April 1st. If you join later in the year, fees may be lower. Members of other U3As pay lower fees and those from U3As close by, pay nothing.

If you would like to join, go to index (above) click information and click on button for membership form and download
